The staff held my bags securely while i explored the town, i returned later to check in. The hotel's location on the riverside is great. my large room was comfortable and offered a view of the river. i enjoyed the steak and ale pie in the hotel restaurant.

i found the location to be directly on the river with a lovely ambiance. the hotel's free secure parking was very convenient for my vehicle it was a great comfort to have my car secured .
i noticed very slight wear and tear in some areas of my room but it didn't detract from my overall enjoyable visit.

the river location was great for an easy walk to town. the food and service in the restaurant was very good. the room was a good size and warm enough.
I found black mould around the bath, it was very off putting. the seal at the bottom of the shower screen was broken. Water leaked. the extractor fan was very noisy.

the location is very convenient. it is a short walk to the town center. covered car parking is available at no extra cost. the riverside view from my room was lovely.
the bathroom looked worn. i noticed tide marks on the flooring. there were large cracks in reception and at the pool. damp was leaking into a renovated bar.

I found the staff helpful and friendly . The hotel's location is advantageous being a short walk to the station. I found it easy enough to get into the town center. The onsite bar and restaurant provided convenient options when I preferred not to venture out.

super stay by the riverside!
wonderful viewpublic transportationlovely walk
i requested a river view and it was wonderful thank you so much the swimming pool was open until late i really enjoyed that. the location is awesome with public transportation and a lidl right around the corner it was very convenient. there's a lovely castle walk nearby and lots of restaurants i couldn't have asked for more.
the bar's closing time wasn't firm it depended on how busy it was that night i arrived back at the hotel after 11 pm and the bar was already closed even though it was full of people

the hotel is centrally located near the railway station and within walking distance of the town center it is also idyllically situated by the river it was so convenient to get around and see everything.

the reception staff were friendly and helpful during check-in they even waited for me beyond official hours because i arrived very late due to delays i felt very welcome and well taken care of.
